Tina Woods is Founder & CEO of Collider Health, a health innovation catalyst that works with organisations of all shapes and sizes to think and do differently and transform health with meaningful impact. Tina is an ecosystem architect and builds collaborative networks to help corporates, start-ups, third sector and investors form strategic partnerships and facilitate smart investment- for long term, sustainable impact. She has established relationships with leading incubators, accelerators, investors, digital health start-ups, clinical innovators and tech corporates. Tina is helping to build the AI ecosystem for the NHS as an adviser to AHSN National AI Initiative (including author on recent report, Accelerating Artificial Intelligence in Health and Care) and is also involved in Consortia development for the Healthy Ageing Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund working with UK Research & Innovation. In 2019 her work on the AI initiative will continue, building the AI ecosystem and addressing critical needs identified in the report: data infrastructure & governance (including open data and ethical frameworks, to help make Secretary of State for Health and Social Care’s Vision for technology happen), workforce education & training (alongside the Topol Review), public narrative & trust (working with Wellcome Trust and Ada Lovelace Institute) and regulation (in line with recent Code of Conduct for data driven health & care technology).
Tina is also is Founder & CEO of Collider Science, a social enterprise to inspire your people in science and technology and equip them with the creative skills for the future. Tina champions diversity and sits on the Gender Equality, Diversity and Education Committee of Imperial College Department of Computing.
