Robin Janvrin is an Independent Crossbench member of the House of Lords, Board member of the British Library, Chairman at the Entente Cordiale Scholarship Scheme and the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Turkey anda Senior Adviser to HSBC Private Bank (UK). He is also an Honorary Fellow of Brasenose College, Oxford and a Visiting Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Corporate Reputation, Saïd Business School. In 1999 he became Private Secretary to The Queen, effectively her closest adviser and chief of staff with responsibilities for advising on all aspects of The Queen’s public life. He stepped down in September 2007. Lord Janvrin serves as the Vice-Chair on the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence (APPG AI).
